Walmart 3P: Prepare accurate marketplace items and verify the shopper experience.
Walmart Marketplace works like Amazon 3P in outline — you own the offer, Walmart owns the catalog — but the mechanics are different enough to trip up sellers who arrive from Seller Central. Items are set up against Walmart's product types and spec templates, matched to existing catalog entries by GTIN through Setup by Match, and published only when they clear Walmart's content, image, and pricing rules. The most common Walmart problem is not an error message; it is an item that quietly sits unpublished while you think it is live.
This track covers the four skills of Seller Center catalog work: separating product data from offer data, setting items up singly and in bulk, maintaining content through the Activity Feed and the Unpublished Items dashboard, and building variant groups shoppers can actually use.
